Founded in 1934 by four Idlewild Debutantes, the Slipper Club of Dallas became the first women’s organization in Dallas.

 

Slipper Club offers a unique network of friendship and opportunities for professional women throughout the city. In 1995, Slipper Club expanded its mission to include community service, a charitable giving program, and became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Today, with more than 500 members, the women of Slipper Club are committed to helping lift up their community by serving women and children in Dallas, Texas.

 

Each year, Slipper Club researches and selects a charity to serve as the sole beneficiary of the club’s fundraising efforts. Members spend the year volunteering and supporting the selected beneficiary culminating in Slipper Club’s Annual Gala and Silent Auction. We are honored to be serving The Dallas  Symphony Orchestra this year!
